In the world of pheromone research, science has identified different types of the chemical produced by the human body. The following are a list of male pheromones and their effect on women.
The first on the list is androstenone. This pheromone is found in male and female sweat and urine. Others can detect this as an unpleasant smell so be careful when using it. However, 30% of humans cannot even detect the odor unless there is a large amount. The inability to detect this pheromone may be related to the person doing the smelling. The receptor responsible for detecting the pheromone is different in different people. With all that being said, it would be wise to wear this with some other scent. This pheromone induces an aggressive impression in members of the opposite sex. To women an aggressive male is sexually attractive.
Next up is Androstenol. Different than adrostenone, this pheromone induces the impression of approachability. This can be used to bring about a feeling of friendliness among members of the opposite sex. While definitely effective it does not seem to be as aggressive as androstenone. Androstenol can be thought of more as method to introduce other means of communication.
Androsterone, not to be confused with androstenone is a pheromone that makes the wearer seem more masculine. It does not have the intimidation factor of androstenone and can be a powerful pheromone for attracting women.
The big daddy of the pheromones is androstadienone. This powerful pheromone has been shown to increase the mood of women when a man is wearing it. It creates a feeling of caring and attention in women exposed to this pheromone. It has also been shown to alleviate the stress associated with PMS.
With all the different types of pheromones it can be quite challenging to find the right mix of products. It might well be a question of which of these pheromones a guy might be lacking. For example, if you are less aggressive than other males it might be in your best interest to check out androstenone. Or if it is your desire to create a feeling of love and caring from women you might want to try androstadienone. The research on pheromones is exciting and promises many developments in the future as more is learned about pheromones effects.
Peter took tried and tested pheromone products on himself to answer the nagging question, do pheromones work?
